
The PSAT/NMSQT will be given at LHS on Wednesday, October 13. This is great practice for further standardized testing for any Junior who is planning to go straight to a four-year college following graduation or for any Honors Freshman or Sophomore who would like practice in preparing for the SAT. Project Life Foundation, Inc. will hold a Historical Black College and University (HBCU) college fair on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Anderson County Library, 300 N. McDuffie Street for high school juniors and seniors.
College admissions counselors will be available to provide students and their parents with information on college admissions. The college fair is being held to encourage students to learn more about the vital roles that Historical Black Colleges and Universities play in our society.
Attendees will receive current information about the colleges present in order to dispel the myths about attending Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s).
There are more than 100 Historical Black Colleges and Universities in the United States today. High School seniors are asked to bring a copy of their high school transcript.
All participants are asked to wear a mask. All Covid protocols will be followed.

LHS names new Assistant Principals:
Please join us in wishing Mr. Johnny Garrett good luck as he assumes a new role at Easley High School! Everyone at LHS will miss him but we are happy for him and his family!
Mrs. Amanda Thompson and Mrs. CJ Kowalski have been promoted to Assistant Principals along with Assistant Principal, Mr. Blackston moving forward.

LHS Temporary Remote Learning
Teachers will have assignments posted in Schoology no later than Wednesday morning.
The main office will be open each day from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Any student with Chromebook issues please stop by the front office.
