Pickens County Career & Technology Center is announcing their summer program. Courses are free to all participants. Rising 9th graders will be placed first in the courses. If the courses do not fill up (15 students per course), the courses will be opened to upper grade levels.

Dates: Monday thru Thursday 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

June 11th – 14th
June 18th – 21st
June 25th – 28th
NO SCHOOL July 2nd – 5th
July 9th – 12th
July 16th – 19th

Breakfast and Lunch – Free for all students

Transportation: Buses will pick up at each local high school (Easley, Daniel, Liberty, & Pickens) at 8:00 AM each morning and transport back to each high school, leaving the CTC at 3:00 PM and arriving at each high school between 3:15 PM and 3:30 PM each afternoon. Students must provide their own transportation to the high school, or they may be dropped off directly at the CTC. (They may drive if they have a driver’s license and have passed “Alive at 25”)

10 Courses: 1 Unit of credit if the student passes the course (PLTW courses carry honors weight.)

Registration is online at: http://bit.ly/PCCTCSummer2018

(Students have to be signed in through their Google account and can only register 1 time. The students pick their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice). If one course is full, the student may receive their 2nd or 3rd choice.

Since courses are only 20 days long and are full days, students are expected to be at every class. Make up assignments will be available for short time or emergency absences only.
